Grey/dapple Welsh Cob pony (like) gelding (breed unverified but looks and moves like a Welsh Cob), approximately 11 hands, 500 pounds. He was dark grey as a colt and has been turning increasingly white, some dapples are still visible. Vaccinated, dewormed and regularly trimmed. Monkey has a great disposition, gets along with anyone, affectionate and friendly towards people, great companion for a lonely horse. Can and has been ridden but since he suffers of a mild case of chronic laminitis, rather unfrequently. Monkey requires dietary restriction and attentive hoofcare, he has great days and days he feels sore and moves gingerly. He has been X-rayed and found that his laminitis is not acute nor severe, but requires management. Monkey is very well loved by all horses and people who meet him. Will send pictures upon request. Becky was abandoned on my pasture in foal over a year ago and has since given birth. She is probably around 7 year old, a stout and thick 15.2 hand paint (heterozygous) mare with remarkable color pattern (red fox sorrel/white). She is vaccinated and regularly dewormed, perfectly healty and physically sound. However, from her behavior it is evident that she has been abused in the past. I have worked with her off and on since she has been with me and she has shown signs of improvements, although she now allows me to handle her her fundamental fear of humans remains unaltered. Once she is caught (I only feed her in a pen) she can be haltered, touched, led and tied, she submits, complies with most requests but doesn't relax. She has never shown signs of agression towards horses or people but is very defensive minded and displays uncanny avoidance skills. As far as I can tell this horse has never been ridden. I can envision this being a project for a very experienced natural horseman (perhaps as a demo if documented), or as an unpapered brood mare, companion horse or just as a beautiful pasture ornament.
